Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data RelayLive collects and how it's used. RelayLive is currently a demo/beta product — this policy will be expanded as the Service matures.
1. What we collect
- Account data: email address, a hashed (never plaintext) password, and whether you signed up as an individual or on behalf of an organization (plus the organization's name, if provided).
- Usage data: how many seconds of presenter streaming your account has used, to apply the free-trial limit.
- Session content: while a session is live, your spoken transcript and its translations pass through our servers to be relayed to listeners. This content is not stored once the session ends.
- Contact form submissions: name, email, organization (optional), and your message, if you request a demo.
2. What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't require listeners to create an account or provide any personal information to join a session.
3. Third-party processing
On browsers with on-device speech recognition (Chrome, Edge, and Chrome for Android), speech recognition and text-to-speech run locally and are never sent to us. On browsers without it — notably Safari and every browser on iPhone/iPad, which have no on-device speech recognition API — short audio clips of your speech are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to be transcribed, then discarded; they are not stored beyond producing the transcript. Translation of transcript text is processed via Cloudflare Workers AI on every browser. Account and session data is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 and Durable Objects).
4. Data retention
Account data is retained until you ask us to delete it. Session transcripts and translations are not persisted beyond the life of a session.
5. Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your account data at any time via our contact form.
6. Changes
We'll update this page as the Service evolves and note the new "last updated" date above.
